Endorsements

Debra has been endorsed by the New York Working Families Party and will appear on their ballot line in November 2023.

Debra has satisfied the rigorous vetting process required by New York’s Working Families Party.  We are proud of their endorsement and Debra’s position on their ballot line.

Debra has received the endorsement of Planned Parenthood of Greater New York.

Because of her commitment to reproductive freedom and the threats to that freedom now being faced by women all over our country, Debra has received the endorsement of Planned Parenthood of Greater New York.

Eleanor’s Legacy New York has given Debra their endorsement.

Eleanor’s Legacy is named after the great leader, Eleanor Roosevelt. Their mission is: We recruit, train, and elect pro-choice Democratic women to run for state and local office throughout New York.

Debra has been a proud union member for her entire career and strongly supports organized labor and their continuous efforts to secure a higher quality of life for their members.

U-Act has unanimously and enthusiastically endorsed Debra’s candidacy for District 16.  They stated that Debra has shown her commitment to progressive values and concern for the welfare for everyone in the county and the country. Furthermore, they highlighted her administrative skills, her ability to deal with uncomfortable situations, and her willingness to consider all sides of an argument prior to making a decision.
